File Manager 

The File Manager is where you manage your tool’s content and structure. Here are some of the things you can do in the File Manager: 

  • Add, rename, reorder, or delete files and folders. 

  • Edit uploaded PPTX files. 

  • Edit folder and file options. 

Uploading content: 

  • Drag and drop from your device or click the Add content box in the file browser to open upload manager. 

  • When you upload a PowerPoint file, Salesframe will automatically split the presentation into individual slides. This conversion might take a few minutes depending on the file size. 

  • You can also manually convert any uploaded PDF files to slides later. 

In Salesframe, you can use diverse types of files, including DOCX and XLSX files, videos, and embedded web content. 

File Options 

After selecting a file, a Folder Options button will become available in the top right corner of the File Manager. From here you can change the settings of all the files you’ve selected all at once. In File Options you can:  

  • Hide file from users 

  • Restrict sending via Memosite 

  • Allow editing of PPTX, DOCX or XLSX file 

  • Delete selected files 

  • Download files 

  • Copy files to another folder 

Folder Options 

Folder options allow admins to determine, for example, who has access to a folder or when and where the folder is visible. The options include: 

  • Folder Background image 

  • When used this background image will be visible in Showroom for this folder and its subfolders 

  • Folder logo image 

  • When used this image will replace the Logo image for this folder and its subfolders 

  • Folder icon image 

  • This image will be used in library folders and in dashboard featured folders 

  • When using the Gallery mode in Showroom this image will be used as the icon for this folder 

  • Showroom layout options 

  • Shortcut will set the folder to be always visible as a small link on the top right corner of the screen 

  • Autoplay will add a small icon next to the folder that allows users to click and automatically play all content inside the folder 

  • Hide Content Tab will hide the content button for this folder  

  • Hide Presentation Bar will hide the presentation deck when user is in this folder 

  • Auto open content when its enabled will automatically open the content tab when user navigates to this folder 

  • Hide previous levels when enabled will hide all the previous levels 

  • Hide breadcrumbs 

  • Show description when enabled will show the description text for the folder that can be set below 

  • Folder description 

  • A short text that can provide more information for the user about the content of this folder. The description is shown with Featured Folders on the Dashboard. 

  • Embed URL 

  • When this option is used the folder itself when clicked will display the URL inside the Showroom 

  • Hide folder  

  • When enabled hides the folder for: 

  • Selected modules 

  • Selected time 

  • Selected user groups 

Featured Folders 

In Featured Folders, you can select folders you want to highlight in the Salesframe Dashboard for users. When adding new featured folders, it is recommended you give them an icon image and a description. 

Flagged Content 

Users can flag content when they find a mistake in it, it is out of date, or if they just have some comments on that content. 

When a user has flagged a file, admins receive a notification in the dashboard. In Admin Tools, you can preview the file by clicking the icon next to the file name, address the issue and finally Resolve the issue. When you click Resolve, you can write a message to the user who flagged the content, so that they know what has been done about the file they flagged. If you select multiple files and resolve them, notifications will not be sent.
